A bit about me

Isabel has been working as a ceramicist/ painter since 1996 when she set up her first studio in County Durham. Since then she has developed her work and is now based in the heart of the Devonshire countryside.

Her inspiration comes from the local surroundings whilst walking her dog, collecting ideas and then reinterpreting them to form a stylistic visual language. The patchwork patterns created by the landscape and tree’s are very consistent within her work.

Ceramics has become the main material that she works with. Her main way of selling work is doing large ceramic shows, travelling around the country during the summer months and making the work during the winter.
