A bit about me
I love working with enamels, the unique interaction between copper and enamel when fired is always different and no two pieces are ever the same. I never tire of the lustre and clarity that can be achieved over several firings and watching the colours evolve as the hot molten enamel cools revealing its magic.
My work varies from high fired bowls, panels and jewellery using a range of techniques from cloisonné to grisaille. My hand raised pewterwork is achieved by transferring my design onto a sheet of pewter and then slowly working from each side simultaneously with various tools until I have built up depth, texture and shape.
I am a member of The Guild of Enamellers and awarded a ACGE for my work submitted at conference back in 2001.
